Arkansas Ozarks

Just back from a nice ride through the Ozarks in Arkansas. I had the chance to travel on some roads I hadn't seen yet near Norfork Lake:

Hwy 341 (Push Mountain road)- great bike road, excellent scenery. Be careful on the north end near Salesville- the road surface is flaking, making for an interesting ride in the turns...

Hwy 14 (from Push Mountain road to Allison)- great scenery, easy road to ride. If you took Hwy 341 fast, you'll need the break.

Hwy 9 (Allison to Melbourne)- this has to be one of the best bike roads in the whole state- DON'T look at the amazing scenery, for your own safety- there's no time to look away from the road. Near Allison, hwy 9 basically has no shoulder, no guard rails, and a large part of it drops off immediately by the road. This is a "NO mistakes" road. Enjoy!
